“What Is Love” is originally a series of hand-drawn, elaborately detailed, small-scale paintings (15 × 15 cm), created in 2014 using the traditional Persian painting techniques of gouache and watercolor. Through this process, the artist explores multiple interpretations of love, inviting viewers to define it in a single sentence.

The digital versions of these paintings are dressed, include some modifications, and have been inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain.
